It tells the story of Guts’ fateful meeting with Griffith, the leader of the mercenary group, The Band of the Hawk. The second film, titled The Battle for Doldrey, picks up where the first one left off. It depicts how Guts left Griffith’s mercenary group to pursue his own dream. Furthermore, it portrays the end of the Hundred Years War, when Casca successfully kills Adon. Finally, the third film, The Advent, follows Guts on his quest to find the Apostles and the God Hand.
