Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is one of the best sequels in Marvel history and for one reason, it paid tribute to the passing of Chadwick Boseman who played T’Challa in the franchise. Prior to the Black Panther sequel’s release, there may have been speculations on recasting T’Challa for the sake of telling the story, but how someone could think of replicating Chadwick Boseman’s body into the film is beyond me. That would have completely defeated the purpose director Ryan Coogler and the cast members had been long advocating for, which is to pay respects to Boseman beyond the grave.

The filmmakers had also expressed the reasons behind their certain decisions made for the film, some of them involved making Shuri as the new Black Panther, why it makes sense, and why Queen Ramonda, of all people, had to die. Of course, this also includes why they decided not to recast Chadwick Boseman’s character for the sequel.

It’s good to hear that the writer had addressed this bizarre theory, otherwise it would have been all for naught.

Meanwhile, you can catch Shuri as the new Black Panther in the Wakanda Forever sequel in cinemas worldwide.
