Chainsaw Man follows the story of Denji, a destitute teenager who is trying to survive in a world full of ferocious monsters known as devils. One day, he becomes friends with Pochita, a devil dog. Due to the mountain of debt Denji’s late father had incurred, he is left with no choice but to repay the debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. Things take a wild turn when Denji is killed by gangsters. In order to save his life, Pochita decides to fuse its soul with him. After this strange and unearthly fusion, Denji transforms into the hungry titular character known as Chainsaw Man. As Chainsaw Man, Denji has a real chainsaw in place of his head.
