Given the attention he’s currently gaining, Anderson wasn’t able to escape the burning question of whether his Game of Thrones character has the possibility to return in one of the show’s spinoffs.

“I think it’d be pretty tense if he did,” he said to E!News. “I think the only way that Grey Worm would show up in that show is to kill Jon Snow.”

The last time fans saw the best of Grey Worm was when he was demanding justice for the death of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) after Kit Harington’s Jon Snow killed the Mother of Dragons.

The Interview with the Vampire star noted that considering the tension and disinterest between his character and Jon, it is highly unlikely that he will reassemble with the King in the North anytime soon.

He said, “I don’t think Grey Worm would want to see him again. That was quite a significant condition of his living. He was like ‘I don’t ever want to see your face again. I’m gonna go my way. And you’re gonna go your way.’"

The GOT alum emphasized that Grey Worm isn’t soon to pop up, saying, “I’d be very surprised if we saw Grey Worm again.”

The show concluded with Grey Worm and the remaining Naath and Dothraki sailing to Naath, the hometown of Grey Worm’s late lover, Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel), while Jon was exiled beyond the wall in the north.

In June, The Hollywood Reporter announced that a Jon Snow sequel series is in development at HBO.

GOT’s prequel, House of the Dragon, has recently wrapped its first season and is currently streaming on HBO, while GOT seasons 1–8 are also available to stream on the platform. Also Read: Game of Thrones Jon Snow Spinoff Release Date, News & Update: What To Expect from Kit Harington’s Snow
