This was right before everything shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Season 1 was released on Netflix 10 months later in Dec. 2020. That’s likely due to the challenges of the restrictions due to the pandemic. Bridgerton Season 2 started production in March 2021, and wrapped in Nov. 2021 around eight months later. Season 2 arrived four months later in March 2022.
