What Is the Plot of Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!?
Tsubasa Shiki, a high schooler from Tokyo, has one of the most difficult relocations of his life because he does not appreciate the long distance between towns and the countryside in Hokkaido. One fateful day, he decides to go sightseeing and walk from the next town to his destination instead of sitting idly in a taxi as a way to cure his boredom. Regrettably, Tsubasa discovers too late that it will be a three-hour walk away from his home in -8°C (17°F) freezing weather! Tsubasa then meets a lovely gyaru (gal) named Minami Fuyuki along the way. Surprisingly, Minami is dressed simply in a short skirt, a standard gyaru outfit, and her bare legs! Since then, the two of them try to get to know each other as they become classmates at Kitami Hokuryo High School. Unbeknownst to Tsubasa, Minami appears to have developed feelings for him as they grew closer. It will be released in 2023, with Ayane Sakura voicing Minami Fuyuki, the manga series’ main heroine.
