Excitement aside, some folks can’t help but cast doubt about his future in filmmaking. Of course, being given a hefty role as co-head of DC Studios, one would think that he’ll shift his focus to his new designation.Well, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Taking to social media, the Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad filmmaker addressed the fans’ concerns about his directorial future. When Twitter user @donramon___ pointed out that Gunn’s new executive position in DC Studios meant he’s no longer directing films, he clarified his dual status and responded: “It doesn’t mean that”.
