Most of the key creative team members for Mad Max: Furiosa also worked in Mad Max: Fury Road. George Miller will direct the film based on the screenplay he wrote with Nick Lathouris. John Seale, known to turn down other projects, has been in semi-retirement since Mad Max: Fury Road and will return to be the cinematographer for Furiosa.
