The scoop comes from Redanian Intelligence, a fan site dedicated to all things The Witcher (via Comic Book Resources). A source close to the hit Netflix show’s production reportedly confirmed that Cavill has in fact contracted the virus. This comes a few days before they were set to enter their final production month. The site adds that following a weekend break, filming was originally supposed to resume on July 25th but it never took place. The good news is Cavill is expected to make a fast recovery from contracting the virus but there’s no word yet when the filming will resume.
