What Is The Tomorrow War Movie About?
The Tomorrow War follows the story of Dan Forester (played by Chris Pratt) as he gets drafted by time travelers to fight against aliens. The tie travelers had to travel back in time to enlist civilians to help fight the attle for earth since the population has become decimated in 2051. One of the men who get drafted into the future is Forester, who now works as a high school teacher. Prior to this, however, he fought in Iraq and has since returned home as a veteran. He leaves behind his wife, played by Betty Gilpin, and 9-year-old daughter, Ryan Kiera Armstrong.
Was The Tomorrow War A Flop?
So was The Tomorrow War a flop? Not quite. Nielsen reported that the movie landed on the top spot of streamed movies the week when it first came out. For the week of June 28 to July 4, the film managed to get 1.22 billion minutes from its 8.8 million viewers.
